International Drive’s restaurant scene had a busy summer, as numerous new eateries debuted along the tourist corridor. But the I-Drive area will start the fall season with another restaurant opening with Central Florida’s second Cooper’s Hawk Winery & Restaurant location.

Central Florida’s second Cooper’s Hawk Winery & Restaurant will debut on I-Drive Sept. 15.

The restaurant will open Sept. 15 at 8005 International Drive, part of Unicorp National Developments Inc.’s $200 million I-Shops project.

The 12,400-square-foot eatery will feature indoor and outdoor seating for more than 380 guests. In addition, the location will be the only Cooper’s Hawk nationwide to serve breakfast and brunch — a bonus for visiting convention-goers.

This is the 16th location for the Cooper’s Hawk chain, but the second in Central Florida. The first location debuted April 28 at the Waterford Lakes Town Center in east Orlando. Together the I-Drive location and the Waterford Lakes eatery have created 380 new jobs for the Central Florida market.

Cooper’s Hawk Winery & Restaurant joins several other restaurants in the I-Shops development including BJ’s Restaurant & Brew House, Chuy’s Tex-Mex, Red Robin Gourmet Burgers and LongHorn Steakhouse.
