A trailblazing town center is getting more space and a cosmetic update.
Easton Town Center (Columbus, Ohio) co-developers Steiner + Associates and The Georgetown Co. have announced that they will be adding more than 50,000 sq. ft. of new tenants this year and renovating more than 150,000 sq. ft. of existing space.
“Great projects evolve on purpose,” said Yaromir Steiner, CEO, Steiner. “Our vision for Easton has been, and continues to be, to challenge ourselves to make it better every day.”
The expansion brings in designers Louis Vuitton and Michael Kors; high-end retailers Tommy Bahama, Ann Taylor and Sephora; and introduces Columbus-based t-shirt store Homage to Easton Town Center shoppers. Wine bar and restaurant Cooper’s Hawk Winery and Brazilian steakhouse Texas de Brazil join Easton’s current restaurant roster of more than 30 eateries and 125 retailers, which drive more than 22 million visitors annually.
“We are thrilled to be bringing these great additions to Easton,” said Adam Flatto, president, Georgetown. “Our guests have come to expect best-in-class retailer and dining and outstanding experiences upon every visit. These enhancements further amplify Easton’s position as central Ohio’s premier mixed-use destination.”
Additionally, Easton and its tenants are investing more than $20 million in renovations this year. This 150,000-sq.-ft. project includes updates to Brio Tuscan Grille, AMC Easton Town Center 30, Express, and the Victoria’s Secret flagship store.
Finally, meeting the parking needs for this growth and expansion is a new $24 million, 1,050 space parking deck. The structure will be completed by early 2013.
